Musée du Fort Saint-Jean Museum | Venez découvrir près de 350 ans (depuis 1666) d’histoire militaire sur le site du Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean, qui fut le témoin du passage de guerriers amérindiens, de troupes françaises et anglaises, de révolutionnaires américains et de plusieurs unités canadiennes. Le Musée du Fort Saint-Jean retrace l’histoire de ce site patrimonial qui est, avec la ville de Québec, le seul endroit au Canada qui a connu une occupation militaire continue depuis le régime français.

It is in a military school, the school is big and u can see a lot of war machine around the campus. The museum is not that big but has many informations. And the river side is nice.

I go to the site on military collège in my town for an historic live reconstitution . After that i go to visit the museum. ( work there in the past as student when it was in the ancien gate /prison). The exposition change alot in the new one but i could say it's an nice improvement. With all the research over the year on the site more infos was gets. And the hostess (guide) that was there today was very welcoming, knows her infomfation and well respond to the people questions around. I highly recommend this place to visit. It's free and nice site to picnic over beside the river. It's open from May to September.

Small but well maintained Museum that tells the military story of the surrounding area. Well worth the time to visit
