I have been to the site 5 times snd every time I have learned something new. I have brought people from Toronto who loved the experience, but it was the guests from Germany were the most amazed. “Much more interesting than castles for us! And much older.” The guides are outstanding.

Great experience for the whole family. Our tour guide Curt was informative, fun, and patient. Lots of ways for the kids in our group to touch and feel a lot of the recreated tools and also experience the inside of a couple longhouses. The small museum at the end of the tour had several of the artifacts found at the site and some more cool information. Count on about 2 hours here.

Arrived late in the day but were still able to see this amazing site! I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in First Nations cultures.

Visited this site for the very first time today, August 1st 2021. Excellent re-creation of Iroquois lifestyle with many interesting artifacts to see. Fantastic experience. Would definitely go back! Took the English-language guided tour - the guided tour (English or French offered) is an absolute must to get the most out of your visit. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, very warm, and highly accommodating, making the experience relatable to the several very young children in our tour group. Our tour guide mentioned it was her first day as a tour guide at Drouleurs: you would never have believed it because she did a fantastic job and her level of knowledge was astounding. We learned so much during the visit and my sons aged 9 & 11 were very interested by everything they saw & heard from our guide - they had learned about a lot of it in school but there's nothing like seeing the real thing. I highly reccommend this destination, it is absolutely fascinating and thank you so much to our lovely tour guide who did a great job showing us everything about the site & explaining in such interesting detail the ways of life, customs and artifacts of the Iroquois. An absolute must-visit!

Awesome experience for the family. It was fun for the kids to see in real life what they learned in school!Tour guide Eric was fantastic and made the learning process very entertaining. Very friendly staff, and location is clean and well maintained.Pack a lunch as there are no restaurants in the area, although drinks are available.

Great place to explore Iroquois daily life on an archeological site. Reenactment of the longhouses, built to demonstrate village life. Brief tours packed with information, interactive displays. Signage in French, English, and Mohawk. Worth the visit whether rain or shine.

Great hands-on visit to the long houses and the way the first people's lived in the area - I was truly impressed. Bravo

Excellent location, bigger than it looks. Guides were superb - go Zoe! - a full hour explaining culture, construction and quirky asides without losing interest. Vast array of artifacts and yet still more to see. My daughter babbled about it the whole way back.
